We should try setting up a feature match area at Knight Ware. Not necessarily broadcasting it live, but recording it then putting it on the Source seems like it would be enjoyable. (This would be a way for me to show off my deck, cough cough.)

I was thinking the samething too. It would be pretty cool to show our meta and people on the web. I have a tripod but no camcorder, we only have a cheap camera that takes like 5 mins battery. If you can find a camcorder, I don't mind doing the editing since I have Adobe Premier and I'll upload it.

I will keep my eyes open.

Maybe Lori has a camera we could use? I know there are outlets, so we might be able to use the charger to keep the 5 minute battery forever.

Ask Lori next time if she has a camcorder. It would help promote Knightware and showoff the West Coast legacy scene.

the problem with this is always space. if capacity is reached then there isn't going to be space, and there is likely not going to be a person who can flip the switch each time a new match starts. i can do absolutely nothing to help this on the day of the event.

if you wanted to do just top eight, that might be easier. but i am still not doing nothing to support this idea on the day of the event.

Ya, I was thinking just top 8 since there'll be ample room. The store credit tournament coming up might be a good start to test it.

Also, if you stop by Knightware anytime soon, Lori is having trouble posting. Unless you or Kevin banned her, I think it maybe something with her computer, if you can help her out.

She wanted to let us know, that Bryant has a camcorder she can use for the next tournament.

She hasn't been banned, her computer is ridiculously old (the one that has all the cards on it), so that might have something to do with it. Also, that is great to hear about Bryant's camera. Videotaping FTW! I don't think that we will be reaching max capacity on the 9th, so we can make a feature match area. This will also help direct traffic, which is always nice.

The POS computer at works seems to work ok.
The laptop at home seems to be the one having trouble.

Yes, Brant is willing to try to tape a couple matches on the 9th, just let him know which ones
(he thinks he can get 7 hours or so on a 32GB cartridge)

Awesome! If he knows how to do the editing cool too, otherwise I'll do my part and bring my laptop so I can upload all the video to it so I don't have to take the camcorder home. I can use Adobe Primiere to do the editing, such as cutting out usless shuffling, add life totals, and upload it online.

This is great, if you bring your laptop, we can film every round (upload each after each round). And the top 8. I highly recommend laptop bringing.

We can choose the feature matches when pairings go up (we probably want to record the matches of the more experienced players in the early rounds).

After round 2 or 3, we can start taping table 1.
